Onit alongside Vignali Logistic Service Provider to manage integrated logistics

Onit Group once again contributes to the digitization of the Romagna territory and signs a successful collaboration with Vignali Logistic Service Provider, a company born in Bertinoro (FC) operating in the national and international transport sector.

The implementation of the On.Plant suite with its WMS and TMS modules allowed Vignali to be able to efficiently manage the logistics integrated in its platforms (Bertinoro and Perpignan, in the south of France) and the distribution of fresh products throughout Italy.

The WMS software guarantees the traceability of goods in transit at the Vignali platforms. How? Radio frequency terminals and thermal printers integrated into the system allow you to label incoming pallets and map their storage and movements up to the exit for deliveries. The possibility of error on the operator side is zeroed, ensuring automatically the recording of all the necessary information in the system.

TMS has instead allowed the automation of the end-to-end travel management cycle, which includes:

• phase of entering the transport order
• planning phase using maps
• management of active / passive price lists for the automatic generation of pre-invoices to customers and external carriers
• automatic calculation of the marginality on the single transport order
