All is set for Onit Sumobot Cup 2023!

Mark your calendars for this date: November 24, 2023.

On that day, the third edition of the Onit Sumobot Cup will be held, an event that will conclude in the best possible way the School-Work Alternation Course organized by Onit in 2023.

In front of an audience made up of the city's schools, a fun and exciting show will be performed, made possible thanks to the efforts of the boys during their months at Onit.

Over the course of the year, 12 boys from 3 schools in the city (Liceo Scientifico A. Righi, Istituto Tecnico Economico R. Serra and Pascal Comandini High School) have gained experience in the company, acquired skills and tested themselves in a group project aimed at assembling and designing 6 small combat robots.

And it is these robots that will face each other in the ring of the Onit Sumobot Cup, in a final challenge to decide which team (and which school!) will stand on the top step of the podium.

But the Onit Sumobot Cup is much more.
As every year, there will be space to bring young people closer to IT through the exhibition of some innovative projects made in Onit, the intervention of experts on topics related to technology and a moment dedicated to university orientation on courses related to IT subjects offered by the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna.
