Roncadin is a worldwide leader in the market of frozen pizzas. Its numbers are a 60.000 sm plant, 630.000 pizzas produced every day and shipments in Europe and Australia. A fast-growing company that reached to Onit to manage goods transportations that are every day more complex.

Newmarket openings, the increase of customers’ portfolio and the higher number of orders drove Roncadin to the decision of re-organizing technologies and software. The goals were to have more efficient travel planning and more fluid loading and unloading management.

On.Plant/TMS software application was the answer to improve some aspects of the entire process. The activation of “Planning” and “Transportation Cost” modules allowed a 1K monthly travels planning. Also, costs were optimized thanks to a system that enables multi-user cooperation. Moreover, thanks to “Bank Acounting”, “Slot Booking” and “Management forecourt YMS” functions, goods and carriers’ movements are on track. The results are quicker loading/unloading operations and more control with check-ins record.
