Onit has developed the Order Management software for a company of the Continental AG

Onit is proud to play a major role in international projects, like the one for the company Benecke-Hornschuch Surface Group of the Continental AG, a global leader in several sectors of the automotive industry.

 

For Benecke-Hornschuch Surface Group, Onit has developed from scratch a highly customized software product to satisfy the specific requirements of the customer. In particular, the software is able to:

  • Receive production orders from the company management system;
  • Plan production by setting the machines through OPC/PLC integration;
  • Check production progress by monitoring quality parameters;
  • Label containers;
  • Generate consumption and product traceability reports.

The Order Management software is used in the departments manufacturing the industrial semi-finished products required for the production of car leather-covered parts for all the major automotive manufacturers in the world.

In addition to designing the new Order Management software, Onit is also supervising its introduction at the Benecke plants located in San Luis Potosí (Mexico) and Changzhou (China) through its team of developers and product specialists.
