Piemme Ceramiche chooses Onit to computerise its facilities

On order to meet these challenges, Piemme Ceramiche in Modena, Italy, has chosen Onit as their technological partner and, through the introduction of the iOTTO/MES platform, has updated the manufacturing supervision processes to integrate all the manufacturing islands and machinery that make them up, in full compliance with Industry 4.0.

Thanks to the software provided by Onit, each Piemme operator now has a monitor available to keep production lines under control and to collect all the information needed (such as data on rejects, stops, OEE) for the facility’s managers to take operational decisions in full autonomy.

iOTTO/MES has allowed this leading company in ceramic production – for many years the authoritative name of Made in Italy craftsmanship – to reduce inefficiencies due to rejects and stops and to improve performance.
