Newmarket openings, the increase of customers’ portfolio and the higher number of orders drove Roncadin to the decision of re-organizing technologies and software. The goals were to have more efficient travel planning and more fluid loading and unloading management.
On.Plant/TMS software application was the answer to improve some aspects of the entire process. The activation of “Planning” and “Transportation Cost” modules allowed a 1K monthly travels planning. Also, costs were optimized thanks to a system that enables multi-user cooperation. Moreover, thanks to “Bank Acounting”, “Slot Booking” and “Management forecourt YMS” functions, goods and carriers’ movements are on track. The results are quicker loading/unloading operations and more control with check-ins record.
