Proof of Delivery has once again proved its worth for logistics in healthcare facilities. As demonstrated previously with C.L.A.V.R. (Romagna’s sub-regional healthcare logistics center), Onit has now made the management of the distribution of drugs and medical devices in the hospital wards of Piedmont more efficient and secure.
Thanks to the installation of the Proof of Delivery (POD) module, the TO5 health board was able to streamline various aspects relating to the supply/management of goods in the transit points and the facilities for which it is responsible (Chieri, Carmagnola, Moncalieri and Nichelino).
Digital tracking is also applied to the exchange flows of the containers used for product handling, allowing centralized management of the packaging delivered to the various wards.
Furthermore, each ward can now certify the delivery of the goods with a digital signature provided by the head nurse, a procedure that guarantees traceability, practicality, and dematerialization.
