To the cry of ‘technology is a girl's game’, the Summer Camps of ‘Ragazze Digitali’ , a regional project set up to tell the story of technology from a female point of view and facilitate the development of a more inclusive information society enriched by the contribution of girls and women, are back again this year.
Dedicated to female students in their third and fourth year of high school in Emilia-Romagna, the camps are totally free courses organised together with Universities and in collaboration with local training organisations and companies.
Among the latter is Onit, which has committed itself to promoting and contributing to the success of ‘Ragazze Digitali’ and ‘Ragazze Artificiali’: the two courses organised by the Department of Informatics, Science and Engineering of the University of Bologna that will take place next September in Cesena.
The aim of the two courses is to enable the girls to develop digital skills, to objectively and consciously assess their aptitude to undertake studies and career paths in the IT field, and to improve their perception of their own abilities and self-confidence through teamwork, continuous laboratory practice and the opportunity to present their results in public.
Onit will open its doors to the girls, who will thus have the opportunity to engage with the teams on the topics of technological innovation and Artificial Intelligence.
The perfect synthesis of IT Experience and Digital Girl Power!
